Eastern Iowa Diaper Bank was founded on the idea that all children deserve clean diapers. The heartbreaking truth is everyday children go without the diapers they need to stay healthy and dry.

Diaper Bank Helps Record Number of Iowans This Year, Needs More Donations to Keep Up With Demand
CEDAR RAPIDS — Because of the economic hardship faced by many this year, one local nonprofit providing for some of the area’s littlest residents saw
Parents must provide a daily supply of diapers to take their children to daycare. Without an adequate supply of diapers, children must stay home. Without child care, parents are unable to go to work, causing even further financial stress for their family. One donation can make the difference in parents being able to work and provide for their families.
Prior to 2020, Andy and his fiancé, had never needed to utilize a community service. Andy shares, “I have always worked and was able to provide for my family, so it was humbling to admit that we needed a hand.” After seeing a news article, they quickly got in line. “When we arrived and saw the line of cars, it was evident that this organization truly cared about those in need after such a rough year – I don’t know what we would’ve done without them.”
